Our History
For over 30 years, RRT has designed more recycling and waste processing facilities than any other company including some of the first recycling facilities in United States (New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida).
In 1995, the world’s largest solid waste company acquired RRT to provide leadership and performance to its recycling line of business. Following two years of intensified activities leading to significant results, including the acquisition of numerous companies, RRT was again reorganized as an independent company.
Today, we continue to build new plants and our operations experience is applied to all our engineering, design and construction work as well as to our consulting practice that assists clients in project development, facility acquisition and improved operation of their facilities.
In 2013, we launched RRT SIGMA Engineering, comprised of the management team and key engineers from a prior company with a 45 year legacy of power plant engineering. RRT SIGMA serves as Engineer of Record or Owner’s Engineer for power plant projects including renewable energy, biogas and special niche areas of gas conversions, power augmentations, CHP and “inside the fence” generation.
